AKTY Technologies is a Malaysian-based specialist in micro-precision processing for advanced ceramics and various high-end materials. Our speciality covers the grinding, slicing, lapping and polishing processes besides providing value-added contract manufacturing and engineering services to clients across multiple industries.

From humble beginnings, AKTY was established in 2001 as an offshoot of Hitachi Metals Electronics (M) Sdn Bhd, then a major producer of magnetic heads (CSA, Thin Film, MR and GMR) for the computer hard disk drive industry. In 2002, AKTY became a full-fledged 100% Malaysian owned company when Hitachi Metals Electronics ceased operations in that year. With our previous affiliation and experience in working with Hitachi, AKTY has charted a proven track record as a trusted micro-precision specialist where to this day, many related companies of Hitachi Metals Limited in Japan still remain prominent customers and supporters of our company.

AKTY is established on four major basic principles and ethics – wisdom, knowledge, determination and being certain of what we do best. These four principles form the basis of our operations and management which are vital in meeting all business challenges and commitment for continued success. In line with our ISO9001:2000 and ISO14001:2004 quality and environmental management system, it is thus AKTY’s vision to become a renown Malaysian company of international stature contributing to the betterment of society besides safeguarding the environment for future generations.
